Plan covering

Postby hotrod » Tue Mar 09, 2010 12:12 pm

Hi all
When building over a plan what do you all use to cover the plan to stop sticking and having to fly with the plan atached.
Any help welcome

Rod,

I have a large roll of cellophane. You are welcome to have some if you wish.

The old fashioned way is to rub candle wax onto the plan, which also allows you to see through it when there's only one wing printed. Also, in the dim and distant past, I used the inside of cereal packets....

Like I said, you're welcome to have some cellophane.

Jim

I use clear polythene sheet (builders membrane I think they call it) from B&Q, about £5 for 4mx3m sheet.

Balsa Cabin sell "Protect-A-Plan" which does the same thing.

I think it'll be a joint effort Rod.
Probably CAMFC will supply the grill etc. I'll check with the boss and let you know.

Shall I bring some bacon sprinkles for you to pep your veggie burger up with???

;)
