Weather wise a very odd day, warm but windy, however we broke this season entry record with a whopping 12 entries.
First up to brave the Limbo was NO.1 he had a bad start cutting the tape but as it was his first pass he had another playing his second and last Wild card. However unfortunately he made it 2, which was, double his first score.
Biggles went next scoring 1 to but he decided to keep it and had an unofficial go with his helicopter and scored 39 however it unfortunately didn't count.
Spiffy then stepped up with a different approach and used a flying wing, in theory lowering his chance of snapping the tape. But on his 3rd approach he went to come in too low and grounded with no undercarriage a drastic hand launch operation started but he didn't get airborne again, Hard Luck Spiff.
Viper a new entry scored a great 8 which put him in 1st place for a long while, Great start (Hamilton style Debut). Well done Brad mate . Hope to see you as a regular.
007 and NBOB playing catch up as they missed last month both scored fairly low with 1 and 4 respectively.
However knowing they can't keep these scores both played their last wild cards which scored 4 and 14 respectively so they paid off. However with no more wild cards will they buckle under the pressure.
Her Klunk entered this month with another home design which weighed less than a 50 pence coin and he wos going well until he snapped the tape on the 7th pass.
Game On went next and had a shocker, scoring a poor 1 then forced to play his wild card scored a massive 1 again! Just weren't my day, don't worry I'LL BE BACK!!

The competition leader NUTZ went next; he couldn't possible win a fourth in a row could he? Of course he did scoring 15 despite servo fiddling, fake emergencies at home and any another way ofgetting him to leave the field. Only joking he has flown the best this year and deserves to be up the top with 40 out of 40 points for NUTZ.
Cyno Ken then arrived and undertook the event with a new electric Bi- Plane, which was going brilliantly, and he would have beaten NUTZ but unfortunately he got caught like a fish on the excess tape.
Revert went next and like promised he has stepped up a gear or maybe two? To score 11 which put him in 3rd well done Trevor, never to be under estimated.
Mercury again a fairly new entry was going well up to his 7th pass where the tape jumped on his rudder and flipped him nose first straight into the ground, at least you had fun.
A good day and event overall some of the leaders have fell on a mid season hurdle and others have just got started and one member is opening a gap. Remember it’s all fun and it’s never too late to entry. More the Merrier
Thanks
Lee
